Week One exercises you should do each day for your eyes. Find a time that is best and keep your Brock string and card in this area. It helps to set a timer for that part of the day that works best.
Eye Stretching
Cover one eye. With the other eye follow a pencil side to side slowly, up and down to the side and up and down. Take a minute to do this for each eye. Repeat this for another minute for each eye.
Brock String
Convergence
Focus on the beads close and make it clear. You should see two strings at all times with the bead you are focusing on as one clear color. Move quickly back and forth between the closer beads keeping them clear, looking inward and outward. Do this for 1 minute. Take a break for 10 to 20 seconds. Repeat once more.
Divergence
Focus on a near bead then quickly focus on a far one. Go back and forth quickly. Switch from near to far/far to near when the bead is crystal clear. Do this for one minute. Take a break for 30 seconds. Repeat once more.
Lifesaver Card
Convergence
Focus on a pencil end in front of the card, red and green lifesavers in front of you. Start on the lower row. You should start to see 4 then 3 circles. The middle lifesaver will turn brown when you are 'fusing' the images in your brain. Look away or blink then do this again. Repeat this 10 times.
Divergence
Focus on a pencil end behind the card. You should start to see 4 then 3 circles. Start on the lower row. The middle lifesaver will turn brown when you are 'fusing' the images in your brain. Look away or blink then do this again. Repeat this 10 times.
If you get these done every day that is awesome! Twice a day would be the maximum I would suggest. If this is too tiring then do a little less and work up to more. You can feel tired and dizzy after you do them. Rest your eyes.
Tips for reducing eye symptoms and dizziness
You only have so much eye muscle and brain energy for the day. The more stimulation that you get, such as going to Costco, the less you have for driving or reading. The best is to pace yourself each day. Its kind of like charging your smart phone for 5-10 minutes when its battery is drained. Doesn't work so well. You need to give time each day to 'recharge your vision'. Taking a break while closing or covering your eyes for 15 minutes or so can reduce anxiety and give you more 'gas in the tank' for your daily visual needs.
