Associated symptoms are
neck pain and tension
pain in the throat or back of the throat
headaches may also be associated with this problem
ear pain or pressure
Questions to ask
Do you have pain to the Adam’s apple when you touch the sides?
Does your voice strain or hoarseness get better at times?
Do you have any difficulty swallowing?
Remember, a loss of voice or hoarseness that is chronic and has no infection or medical reason is most likely a problem that is coming from a tight and tense neck.
