The first step in determining if you have vertigo is to perfom a test called the Dix-Hallpike Test. This test can be done in different ways. Most commonly this test is done without imaging and with your eyes open. Only the most symptomatic and obvious vertigo problems are found. All other tests use some form of imaging. In this video we show the different testing and why one is more sensitive than the other.
We hope you have learned a lot about positional vertigo or BPPV. If you would like to watch a treatment just click this button and watch a treatment, from imaging, the Epley maneuver followed by reassessment of an actual client.
